Our firm is driven by two simple underlying principles:

1. We want to enjoy ongoing relationships with clients who feel their needs are always efficiently and effectively met by the services we provide
2. We want to know that we are doing our utmost to provide excellent, value for money services, whilst enjoying day to day working life
As a relatively small, specialist firm, we feel we are ideally placed to achieve and sustain both of these objectives. In order to help us do so, we have set down the principles by which we operate, so our clients and others can be clear from the outset about what to expect.

Understanding

Whatever the nature of your issue or problem, we see our role as helping you achieve the optimum outcome, taking into account the legal situation, current and future practicalities, relevant historical factors and our mutual view of what would be in your best interests. To do so, we take time to establish your goals and objectives and to discuss with you all possible consequences in order to help you fully understand your position from the outset.

Communication

We know that client satisfaction is dependent on excellent communication at all stages of the relationship. We will discuss with you at the outset your needs and expectations in respect of communication and will strive throughout your transaction to keep you fully informed and updated. We will make ourselves available as quickly as possible to answer any other queries you may have and will do our utmost to advise you in advance of any developments of which you should be aware.

Integrity

We will, at all times, operate with honesty, openness, loyalty, fairness and complete integrity. Of course, all our dealings with clients will be subject to the utmost confidentiality. In short, we will treat you, our client, in the way we ourselves would wish to be treated.

Charging

Our ultimate concern is that our clients feel that they are receiving excellent value for money. As a matter of course we will openly discuss our rates and basis for charging with you prior to starting work. Where we are not able to provide a detailed estimate in advance, we will commit to providing regular fee updates and interim itemised invoices so you are aware of exactly how much you are paying.

Professionalism

At all times we will act in an efficient, transparent and highly professional manner in order to achieve the most effective outcome for you. In the event of any potential conflict of interest we will explain this to you and seek to assist you in finding alternative assistance.

Satisfaction

Our reputation is important to us, but even more important is that we want to enjoy relationships with clients who feel that they consistently receive the best possible levels of service. However, should we at any time deliver service which you feel is less than satisfactory, we would welcome your feedback and the opportunity, as appropriate, to put matters right. We also welcome our clients’ suggestions at any time as to ways in which we might improve our service further.
